Our Beliefs

We believe in the existence of a loving God who is the source of all creation. He has created us to find our eternal destiny in relationship with Him. We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God, given to us for learning both about God and godly living. Our role as Christ's church is to communicate the principles of Scripture to a fallen world in a relevant way. 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Romans 14:1-4, 2 Corinthians 13:14

We believe that sin has separated all mankind from a holy God As a result, man is incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through his own effort. We believe that salvation is the free gift of God that has been made available to all as a result of Jesus’ death on the cross. Salvation is by grace through faith, not through works. Faith expressed in confession, repentance, and baptism by immersion receives the blessing of God's grace and salvation and the gift of the Holy Spirit. Isaiah 59:1-2, Romans 5:8-9, Romans 6:17-18, Luke 13:3, Cor 7:10

We believe that the church as Christ’s body is designed to be a visible manifestation of God on this earth. Christians are not perfect, just forgiven. The Church continues the work of Jesus through the Great Commission, calling us to make disciples, and through the Great Commandment, driving us to love God and love our fellowmen. We use the life of Jesus as the model of our own life of service to others, ministering to those who are hurting and calling people to a godly living. Matthew 28:18-20, 22:36-40, John 13:12-15
