  2. From our Elders- The year 2020 has presented challenge after challenge. It continues to present challenges of which we as an eldership have been praying. March brought us the beginning of becoming an online church, an area we have determined we want to grow and area we are still challenged with growing. The primary challenge currently and as it was in September when we asked for a special contribution and the church responded, is finances. As you have probably seen in the church bulletin, we have fallen behind the budget since the special contribution. As the Heartland Church of Christ, we have been blessed to support many missions. We are not alone in the quest for finances, both Heartland Christian Daycare and La Palma Christian School in El Salvador need your help as well. Instead of a designated special contribution we are asking you prayerfully consider an additional gift this month to either/or/all, the church, the Heartland Christian Daycare, or to the La Palma Christian School. If you are looking for a charitable end of year contribution, this is a golden opportunity.
  3. Our daycare needs your help! 2020 has been a difficult year for everyone, Heartland Christian Daycare Preschool is no acceptation. With many parents working from home, our enrollment is extremely low. We have endeavored to press on, but we have come to a crucial point where we need funds to continue to be self sustaining. Can you please assist us with a donation? We ask that you prayerfully consider how you can help keep this mission alive through this pandemic. Along with your donation, please pray for more students, continued health and funding. We realized we are not the only mission suffering at this time. Our goal is that God be glorified and may manifest through the children and families we serve. Donations can be made by check to the Heartland Christian Daycare or to the Heartland Church of Christ with a memo for the daycare. You can also give though Where I Give and app
  4. If you have been thinking about making an extra donation to a charity or organization for the Christmas season, PLEASE consider LPCS. If you know of friends, family, churches or others that would be willing to support our school, PLEASE tell them about LPCS. If your family or business is looking for a way to donate for tax purposes, PLEASE consider LPCS. If you are just feeling blessed this year and have some extra to give as an individual or family, PLEASE consider LPCS. Without additional funds now, we will not be able to continue as we have for the last several years at the school in La Palma. Please talk to anyone you think would be willing to help us out at this time. Please tell anyone that is willing to donate that there are several ways to make that happen. Donate through Venmo at @Lenaira-Day_LPCS, checks are always welcome- made out to the Heartland Church of Christ OR La Palma Christian School, sent to PO Box 1251, Liberty, MO 64069. Also via app or Where I Give
