A Heart for God. A Heart for the Church. A Heart for the World.
Important …..When giving to the LaPalma Ministry, it is important that the memo line on checks reads “LaPalma Mission” or “LaPalma trip” only. Placing a person’s name on the memo line may cause a problem with IRS if you are ever unlucky enough to be audited. It is the policy of Heartland to apply any mission trip donation toward the cost of anyone going, so if one traveler receives more than enough it is applied first to anyone on the current trip needing funds and second to the cost of future mission trips. Please be sure your friends and family are aware of this fact and advise them to attach a note with their donation (sticky notes are perfect). If you send a fund-raising letter, please include this explanation within the letter.
Volunteers are always needed to help with Sound and Media on Sunday mornings or to get the media ready for service. If you are interested in this, contact Jerome Harris.
November 17th, we will have a Baby Blessingduring our worship service. Children, infant to 2 years of age, may be a part of this event. Pick up a form at the Welcome Center and return it to the office, along with the child’s picture as a jpeg, by November 3rd. Download the form HERE
LaPalma Christian School supporters, there is a container with wrist bands at the Welcome Center. Please consider dropping a small donation in the jar and taking a band to show your support for LPCS.
When the Fellowship Room, or any other room, is used for an event requiring a different setup, please ensure that the chairs are returned to their original positions. If you attend a church event and the tables and chairs have been moved, your help in returning them to the original setting would be appreciated. Your trash should also be taken to the dumpster out the kitchen door. Thank you for your courtesy.
REMEMBER – You may check church events on the calendar at cal.heartlandchurch.us and download the form from the website under Calendar. Please submit the Event Form to the office as far in advance as possible so that conflicts in schedules can be avoided.
