  1. The Bible is the inspired word of God and the sole authority in matters of faith and practice. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 
  1. We are to offer grace and toleration in matters not specifically addressed in Scripture. Romans 14:1-4 
  1. There is one God who exists as three co-equal and co-eternal persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Deuteronomy 6:4, 2 Corinthians 13:14 
  1. God created all things and made mankind in His image. Genesis 1:26-27 
  1. Sin has separated all mankind from a holy God. Isaiah 59:1-2 
  1. Jesus Christ is God who became man. John 1:14 
  1. Jesus died, was buried, and raised on the third day to pay our sin penalty. Romans 5:8-9 
  1. Salvation is by grace through faith, not through works. Ephesians 2:8-10, Romans 6:17-18 
  1. Faith expressed in confession, repentance and baptism by immersion receives the blessing of God’s grace and salvation. Romans 6:3-4, Romans 10:9, Luke 13:3; Col. 2:11-12; Phil. 2:9-11; 2 Cor. 7:10 
  1. Jesus is coming again at a time not specified by Scripture. Matthew 24:42-44 
  1. There will be a Day of Judgment for all people. 2 Corinthians 5:10 
  1. There is a Heaven and a Hell, one of which will be the destiny for every person. Matthew 25:45- 46 
  1. A relationship with Jesus is the determining factor in one’s final destiny. Romans 8:1-2 
  1. Christians are not perfect, just forgiven. 1 John 1:7 
  1. The Great Commission calls us to make disciples. Matthew 28:18-20 
  1. The Great Commandment drives us to love God and love our fellowman. Matthew 22:36-40 
  1. The life of Jesus is our model for our own life of service to others. John 13:12-15
